Boy oh BOY!

That's right, it's a BOY! I'm so stinking excited. Andy is ecstatic. Having a boy means that I have to train my eye to search out more than just pink fluffy stuff. It means I'm going to have to deal with a little fire hose when I change diapers. It also means I get to go shopping for new bedding, a few clothes (thanks meg for letting me use yours) and boy toys! Maren still won't have to learn to share.

I'm a bit worried about the activity level of boys. Maren is my little angel who asks me before she gets into anything. During softball games, she never leaves my side. This little baby is already rambunctious and getting into trouble. When I had my ultrasound last week, he had the cord wrapped around his whole body and his leg! I had to go to a specialist today to make sure that he wouldn't have problems as he gets bigger. So I got another ultrasound today and he was completely unwrapped. The doctor compared him to a Mexican cowboy doing lasso tricks. What am I getting into?

Sorry I'm too lazy to scan the pics now. Maybe later.

Congrats! Looks like we're both in for a new experience.

I'm a little concerned about the fire hose too:)

Congrats! Boys really are great! They do have a lot of energy, but they are so fun and carefree! You'll be fine!;)

A girl first and then a boy--just like us. Our little Jonathan is an angel sent from heaven. He is so calm (unlike his sister). :) Hopefully yours is the same. Love you guys!

congrats that is so fun. Isn't it so strange how you can tell how your little one will be even before they are born. Kenidee was out of control from the day I could feel her move, and Bennett was just mild and moved just enough to let me know he was there.

How fun! Boys are SO sweet! I didn't know what I was going to do with a boy but they are seriously easy and sweet. As for the dangerous "hose"...my mom got me these little things called "Pee Pee Teepee for the Sprinkling Wee Wee" and they are little cloth cones that you stick on top while you change the diaper. They are cute and handy!

Boys are crazy, but so much fun! You'll love him no matter if he does pee on you! Good luck! I'm so excited for you guys! (... sorry to say, Maren still is gonna have to learn to share, that little man is gonna want anything she has!)

Yeah Angie and Andy!!! I have to say though, I call my little boy my "little piece of heaven" after my two girls. He's calm, sweet and content. Everything they are not! So boys can be awesome too! But I sure love my girls too!

Yea, that's so much fun!

I have to tell you, that one of my girls peed on me more than my boy. I was worried about that too, but it's really no big deal.

Yeah! Boys are fun in a whole different way. More energy, but not so much drama. They just throw everything they get their hands on. You will love having one of each!

Congrats! Boys aren't really as bad as you're thinking. It helps when they have a sweet older sister!
